Congratulations to Alex, first player to reach level 8!!! Alex wields the axe as his weapon of choice and recently acquired the silver needed to purchase a brand new axe. But, every time Alex tried to buy an axe from the shopkeeper, the shopkeeper would sell him a blunt axe instead. The shopkeeper has been spoken to concerning this matter and should now be more cooperative.

Travelers are reporting signs of thieves along the wilderness trail. The merchants of Jerusalem are complaining that this could hurt trade if left unchecked and are urging brave warriors to rid the land of this scourge.

A vineyard has been planted in the Kidron Valley. The owner has invited young warriors into the vineyard to help eliminate some pests.

The world of HolyQuest now has 200+ rooms for your adventurering pleasure! There is a great place for young warriors to hunt just south of Jerusalem. Directions: from Jesse Square, go west and out the city gates, go south as far as you can, go east to the Kindron Valley, go southwest to the Hinnom Valley, go west as far as you can, go northwest and you have arrived.

HolyQuest is now running on the new mud server, OMugs - Online Multi-User Game Server. The world is still very small, but the basic mud commands are in place.

HolyQuest is still alive and well, although very few players and very small world. The mud server used to run HolyQuest is currently CircleMUD. But, about a year ago, work began on a new mud server named OMugs - Online Multi-User Game Server. OMugs is being coded from scratch using Microsoft Visual C++ and runs on a Microsoft Windows 2000 platform. The current plan is convert HolyQuest to run using OMugs sometimethis year and then continue the development of the HolyQuest world.

September 4, 2001

Today, in the early evening, a historic event occurred on HolyQuest. The first two players of HolyQuest, Ariel and Becca, logged in, found some equipment, and then some rats met their fate at the hands of these two fearless warriors.

There is more to the story, I won't tell all here, but there was some mysterious traveling and the statue incident! Ask them about it when; you see them 'in game' :)

Here's three cheers to Ariel and Becca, great warriors, who have joined David and his mighty men in their HolyQuest.

HolyQuest is now open to the public for testing. There are only two zones, Jesusaslem and Snake Rock, which still need to be populated with NPCs. Several website changes have been made, including some new graphics.

Haven't quit yet =) Made some more minor changes to some of the web pages. Still working on the 'behind the scenes' things. HolyQuest is running, just not very much to do, need more armor, weapons, NPCs, and shop inventory.

The game is still not available for playing. Jerusalem will be the first area brought online, hopefully soon!

Changed all website text to a larger font (14pt) and changed the color to black, should be easier to read now.

Rewrote the Historypage and made a number of minor changes to other pages.
